Sources, assumptions and included scope

Washington modeled planning range, before tax and excluded work; not a statistical Washington average or complete inclusive contractor bid. Contractors independently set their scope, business operations, products, labor, overhead, profit, prices and contract terms.

Detected roof-surface area already follows the slope. No extra pitch factor or orientation price multiplier is applied.

Before you send a request

A few useful answers.

Is this a contractor's final quote?

No. This is a modeled planning range with published inputs and stated assumptions. A roofer must verify materials, layers, access, deck condition, permits, taxes and the written scope. See the full method.

What if my roof photo or measurement is unavailable?

Availability varies by property. A detected-area range can remain useful when a photo is unavailable. If the building is wrong, reject it and enter a known roof-surface area, or use the manual request form in the tool.

Why show roof pitch and direction?

Pitch helps identify material and underlayment questions, including low-slope sections. Direction describes which way a roof face points. These facts do not establish roof condition or solar suitability. Detected surface area already follows the slope; no extra pitch factor or direction-based price premium is added.

Does this work for flat roofs, repairs or mixed roof systems?

Low-slope roofs can require different covering and waterproofing details. The tool does not apply an asphalt replacement budget to an entirely unsupported low-slope roof. Mixed sections and repair work need a separate assessment and written scope. Review roof replacement scope.

Do I have to share my phone number to see the range?

No. Contact details and permission are requested only when you choose to save a roofing request. You can explore the tool and its pricing method first.
