This is the overall ground footprint, including visible holes. One whole-outline pitch assumption converts it to roof surface; field-material waste is separate.

The overlay identifies detected surfaces. It does not establish roof condition or a complete work scope.
Edge refinement needs a calibrated detected outline and a usable detected pitch.

Sources, assumptions and included scope
Washington modeled planning range, before tax and excluded work; not a statistical Washington average or complete inclusive contractor bid. Contractors independently set their scope, business operations, products, labor, overhead, profit, prices and contract terms.
Detected roof-surface area already follows the slope. No extra pitch factor or orientation price multiplier is applied.

Roof estimate questions,
answered.
Can I get a roof estimate from my address?
Yes, when Google Solar has matching roof data for your property. Enter your full Washington address and ZIP to check roof area and see a planning range without entering contact details. If coverage is unavailable, use known roof-surface area from plans or a professional measurement.
What is included in the roof replacement range?
The current model includes field roofing with material waste, installation labor, and explicit accessory, one-layer removal and business overhead/profit allowances. It is a modeled planning range, not a contractor quote or a surveyed city average. Tax, permits, hidden repairs and difficult access are excluded.
What is a roofing square?
One roofing square is 100 square feet of roof surface, so a 2,000-square-foot roof is 20 squares. Material ordering waste is calculated separately; floor or lot area is not a roof measurement.
What could change the final roofing price?
The actual roof system, slope, height, access, existing layers, damaged decking, permits and tax can change the written proposal. Confirm quantities, included work and change-order terms with the roofer before accepting a price.
